Pomo Homelands Guided Walk with Michael Hunter and Friends

Tribal Chairman Michael Hunter of the Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians is offering us all an opportunity to walk in Jackson State Forest amongst Pomo people whose ancestors lived on JDSF's lands for millennia. Learn from their experience living sustainably on this planet for thousands of years, hear Pomo perspectives about the forest, learn about tribal history within JDSF, and partake in discussion about how the current management style impacts the tribes today. By coming together as a community we can help heal each other, and Mother Earth. See the attached flyer for dates and meeting place.
